Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 October 2026

This policy explains what Bubukey stores when you use the service, why it stores it, and the controls you have over it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, display name, and subscription status.
  • Conversation details: the recipient name and phone numbers you give us, the brief you write, and every message sent and received in a conversation.
  • Media: photos or videos you upload, so they can be analysed for context and attached to an outbound message when you ask.
  • Payment status: plan, renewal date, and checkout results. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never reach Bubukey.

How it is used

Your brief and message history are processed to draft, send, and continue text conversations on your behalf, and to keep the workspace in sync in real time. Message delivery runs through our messaging partner (Twilio); reply drafting runs through our AI gateway. Both act only on the data needed for that single purpose.

Sensitive codes and credentials

When a recipient asks for a PIN, one-time code, or account number, Bubukey shows you the request and sends your answer once. The stored conversation and any shared link keep a masked copy only, such as •••42. Raw values are not written to application logs.

Retention and deletion

Conversations are kept until you delete them. Deleting a conversation removes its messages and any media that is no longer referenced. Deleting your account removes your profile, tasks, messages, attachments, and share links.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that deliver messages, store files, process payments, and report errors, and when we are required to by law.

Sharing a live feed

A live-feed link shows a redacted, read-only view of one conversation to anyone holding the link. Revoke it from the conversation at any time; revocation takes effect on the next refresh.

Text message opt-out

Reply STOP to any Bubukey message to stop receiving it, and HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

Your choices

You can export a conversation, delete it, revoke a share link, cancel a subscription, or stop using the service at any time from inside the workspace.

Draft policy text — have it reviewed and finalised before launch.
